Bree is an awkward teenager, who is feeling that she isn’t belonging anywhere. We think she is raised in a strict household, and that she is missing a lot of the social skills. We think that she is making the video blog, because she misses friends, and a social life. She is a bit rebellion and impulsive, because when Daniel invites her to a party, and her parents tells her not to go, she stills leave for the party. And suddenly she is in a car with Daniel, driving around and sleeping in his car.

In the video “A Change In My Life” Bree is telling a bit about her religion, and that she has been chosen to be a part of a ceremony, where she e. g. has to learn a new language, go on a special diet, and receive injections once a week and other things. That shows that she has a hard time having a normal social life. Daniel wanted to take Bree out to a dinner, but once again Bree have to attend another ceremony for her religion, so even though Daniel is practically her only friend, they find it hard to find time to be together.

Besides that, Bree have never experienced a kiss, but she finds out that Daniel have more than friendly feelings for Bree, and that is creating some tensions between them. Especially when Daniel decides to kiss her at another party, Bree is confused about her own feelings.

The story line of the videos: in the first video, Bree is kind of shy, and holds her feelings back, because she is afraid of that the viewers would say about her, and when the videos continues, she opens up, and reveals more about herself, and her life in the religion.

In the second video, Daniel talks about his relationship to Bree, and from there they both opens up for their mutual feelings. And then the videos jumps to Bree and Daniel driving in a car, we are never told why they are driving. The last video, a guy gets stabbed in his stomach, and Daniel and some other people tries to stop the bleeding, and in the end they sees Bree laying on an operation table, and they runs for her, but the door closes.

The whole lonely15 phenomenon was an interactive web-based video series which started in 2006. All the people who were included in the videos were paid characters. The project was started because they wanted to test people to see how far they could go before people would start to question the realness of the videos. The film project was called ‘The Children of Anchor Cove,’ and Jessica Lee Rose auditioned for the role as Bree and got the part. The project became a huge phenomenon in both England and America, especially because people thought it was interesting because they thought it was real and exciting.

Bree is an American New-Zealan actor called Jessica Lee Rose and lonelygirl 15 was her first debut. After graduating in 2006, Jessica was looking for an acting job and found a listing for the film project The Children of Anchor Cove. She auditioned for the lead part and was offered the role as Bree. After lonelygirl she went on to appear in other films and web series.
Today Jessica is 24 years old and in 2010 she signed a contract to appear in the film “Look at me” with one of her friends from Lonelygirl5.

  "Lonelygirl15" is a 16-year-old teenager video-blogger who posts videos on her youtube channel. In the beginning of her career as blogger, she covered normal, everyday subject matters. The title of the channel suggests that she is a girl of anxiety, and is desperate need of finding either love or friendship. Bree, aka lonelygirl15 is an intelligent, yet awkward and geeky teenager.  She is raised by her parents in a strict household. The parents have not taught her much, except spooky, bizarre occult practices. On one hand, she is innocent and sheltered. On the other hand, she seems involved in various "bad-girl" stuff, like her occult religion. Bree was home-schooled, and that is the reason why she has limited social experience. She has 2 friends, Daniel and Cassie, who she hangs out with.

Storyline of her videos:
  Her videos are about a teenager girl, Bree, who is very lonely. She has one good friend, a boy named Daniel. Bree is home-schooled, and she is very intelligent. Her parents are strict, and keeps her away from other kids. The family is members of some not-ordinary religion, however, she does not want to talk about it. The first video is about how Bree think her parents suck. Bree is sad because her parents prevented her from going on an afternoon hike with a male friend (Daniel) by saying that they would be disappointed in her if she did. 
  The next video is called "Boy problems": Bree is a 16-year-old girl and Daniel is an 18-year-old boy. Are they "just friends" or do they have feelings for each other? What will her parents say when Bree begins to go on dates? In this video, we see that there is something developing between Bree and Daniel. 
  "Order Of Denderah" is about Bree's religion, in the eyes of Daniel. She still will not say what her religion is, because she says that some people will leave disrespectful comments on her videos. But Daniel reveals to us that the occult order is called "Order of Denderah" (he has been "spying" on her). 
  "On The Run" is about how Daniel and Bree make the decision to run away. They sleep in the car for a few days before settling in to a motel. Bree seems to be her usual silly self, but Gemma warns her that she is being followed by a "Watcher", a member of the Order who is stalking them. They flee again, finding another motel. Daniel is upset with Bree for not taking the situation seriously. 
  The second last video is about how the characters has probably been in a car crash. Bree is in the state of coma, and a man is seriously injured. In the end of the video, Bree dies.
  The last video is about how Daniel finds a recorder, and suddenly it all makes sense.

Her name is Bree and she is sixteen. She is an intelligent and very odd girl. She is not like the normal girls because she uses a lot of her time behind a computer watching clips on YouTube. You could call her a geek because of her interdependence of her computer. She doesn’t hang out with friends and her only friend Daniel.

- What type of life does she lead?

She leads a very sad life without any real friends. She is in lack of social skills because she has moved around a lot because of her parents. She has one true friend Daniel.

- Who does she hang out with?

She hangs out with Daniel whom she met while she in a short while was in public high school and her stuffed animals.

- What is the storyline of the selected videos?

The first video is about her so we start to hear about her. The second video is also about her but about the relationship between Bree and Daniel and that she can’t tell her parents if he is going to be her boyfriend. The third video is about Bree’s religion where Daniel is talking to the camera. He is talking about her cult and what it is. The fourth video is also about her religion or her cult and about a ceremony. She is talking about a temple and that her stuffed animal said that it was Napoleon which reached Denderah first but it was an artist which people believed who reached the temple first. In 1820 a French engineer was sent so he could remove and place a copy of the Zodiac. The fifth video is about her not being able to connect to her parents and seeing them getting into a car where she does not know the driver. Her parents had left a note on one of her stuffed animals where it stood that she should stick around with Daniel and they had left some money. They are driving, driving and driving and they are both dirty. The sixth video is starting very explosive. A lot of things happen and we see some people that we haven’t seen. One of them is injured but gets help from the other people. Daniel is helping the injured guy. Bree is dying in a hospital and they boys and girls are running for the room where she is but the maid closes the door. They see a man with a black cape lifting Bree’s body. The seventh and last video is where we see the other guy we still don’t know who is. Daniel has left the group but gave his phone to one of the guys in the group. Bree left a message on Daniels phone. She tells her plan that she will do it all and that her last wish is that they rescue the other girls.

The basic storyline is about her religion or the cult of “Zodiac of Denderah”, the ceremony and about her death.

Bree is getting ready for the ceremony and she does that by having a very, very special diet. She is taking some pills and eating some special food so she is strong enough.

She is living through the internet. She is always making videos and she posts them online. Her family and she moved around a lot, and therefore she only has a few friends. She does not really know how to communicate with people her own age, besides her friends Daniel and Jonas.

Her family is a part of a sect, and when the sect abducts her parents, she decides to run away from the sect.

She hangs out with a group of people, including her best friend Daniel, a guy she likes named Jonas, and some girls who we do not have further information on.

— What is the ”storyline” of the selected videos?

In the beginning, she videoblogs to distract herself from getting bored. It develops to a serious blog, where she discusses her religion and boyfriend issues. But then she runs away to escape from the mysterious religion, and then it kidnaps her parents, and she is forced to surrender, to safe her friends from the claws of the sect.

— Who is she?: Bree is a normal high school girl from USA or England. She is 16 years old, and she has made a blog on the internet, maybe because she is bored? She seems like she is a bit lonely, while she is making her own blog, without some of her friends.
— What type of life does she lead?: She lives an isolated life, because of her religion. She is not allowed to do what a normal teenager can do. She doesn't seem to have a lot of friends, otherwise she would not sit and talk to a screen as it was a human. It seems like there are a lot of strict rules combined with her religion and her parents, and it all appears a kind of strange and secretive.
— Who does she hang out with? When she hangs out with people, it is a boy named Daniel and two girls. Daniel is her best friend. She also has a boyfriend named Jonas. But it is a kind of strange with these friends, because it doesn’t seem like she is allowed to be with them so much. Otherwise they mean a lot to her and she means a lot to them. They want to safe her in one of the videos, maybe it is from “the ceremony” she is talking so much about or from something else. Her relationship with her parents is bad, and she can’t talk with them about private stuff and things like that. She doesn’t trust them.
— What is the ”storyline” of the selected videos?
In the first video Lonelygirl15 represents herself, and she tells us, that this is the first time she makes video blog. She seems like a normal girl, maybe a little bored and insecure, but there is nothing unusual about her in this video. In the end of the video, she makes some funny faces and that support the fact, that she is quite “normal”. She also talks about boy problems in the next video, and that is very common for a girl on 16.
Then we begin to hear something about her religion, and a ceremony. The religion seems very strange and there not really someone who knows what it is all about. Bree knows what it is about of course, but she will not tells us, because she thinks we would judge her. Bree tells us again about this secret ceremony, and you get the impression, that it is very important and a big deal.
Suddenly her parents get kidnapped, and she gets afraid, and drives around with Daniel for some days. They don’t know what to do, and they are too scared to stay at Daniel or at Bree’s house.
Now it gets really terrible, because Daniel and the two girls stand around Jonas, who is bleeding very much from his belly. The death had stabbed him in the belly, trying to safe Bree. In some kind of way, they do this, because they want to safe Bree, who is about to had her blood taken. We thinks it is the leaders from the sect, who will take her blood and give it to an old man, who definitely mean a lot to the sect. The sect is called “The order” and they trait positive blood. Maybe this is the ceremony, but Bree doesn’t know that.
She had leaved a phone message to her friends, and you get to hear it, when the friends stand on a bridge and know Bree is dead. She said that she is sorry, and she loves them all.

Who is she?

Bree is the blogger, and she is a 16-year old girl. She lives in a small, boring town, and she is a typical teenager, who is annoyed with her parents and talk about boys. She is not very confident with herself, and you can tell that from her body language, because she is not uptight. Bree has a special religion, which is called order of dendrah, and the religion is kind of mysterious.

She hangs out with a boy called Daniel, who likes her, but Bree does not know if she likes him back. The order does not like her hanging out with Daniel, because he influences her to reconsider the religion, which the order off course does not like. They have to use her later, to a blood transplantation.

Storyline:

In the start Bree is a regular teenager with insecurities and boy problems. Soon she starts recording more vlogs with hidden messages. Bree’s religion is the Order of Denderah. In the beginning Bree is aware that she is going to take part in a Ceremony, but she does not know how or why she has to be a part of this. She is nervous. As the story evolves, Bree reconsiders the situation and does not want to take part anymore. She comes home to a surprise that her parents are leaving her. Or that is what she thinks, in reality they are taken away from her. She tries to escape the Order but is unable to and they find her.

Later in the hospital, Bree’s friend find himself in a bad condition because he is hurt but they soon forget when they see Bree lying on a bed and her blood is transferred to the body next to her. A dark person enters the room, and takes her body.

She has left a message of Daniels phone saying that they are going to come after other girls.

The Cult

The Order is interested in Bree’s blood because her blood is trait positive. Which means that she has an amount of ribozymes, that are able to reproduce them and cure diseases such as cancer or others. The Elders of the Order are interested in her blood because they can live longer by taking blood by people with this blood type.

Real life

Jessica Lee Rose is a 24 year old American-New Zealand actress. She became more famous and popular after playing the role of an 16 year old teenage character named Bree also called ‘Lonelygirl15’.
The very mysterious girl, Bree appears in many video blogs on the website YouTube and ended up being the most subscribed channel on YouTube. After the death of Bree and the success with video blogging on YouTube, Jessica Lee Rose played the character ‘Jen K’ on the American comedy-drama tv-series ‘Greek’ and later on several movies. She landed a big role after her acting on the blog.

I can’t see video nr. 5 but in the last clip we see her friends. They got a message from Bree where she talks about the ceremony and that they always will be in danger with Bree. She also says that she feels like Daniel is her brother.
